His & Her Christmas.......

My wife's family is from PA and many of them worked for the PRR. She also was often taken down to the local station to watch the trains go by......and the GG-1 became her favorite. And as pink is the color of her laptop, phone and many other things.....this year for Christmas I got her this.

And she got me the EP-5 ( I really bought it....but from her!!)

Both are WbB units and are very nice as expected. She loves the GG-1 and it is kinda growing on me. She and the Grand daughters will use it on the layout......they love trains too......

    Great Christmas gifts, especially to a PRR girl, mates who run trains together stay together.  My father worked for the Union Switch & Signal, I like GG-1 Engines myself, in the original PRR Green with 5 stripes.  Tried to purchase my daughter a GG-1 PRR Pink Girls Train, she told me Daddy PRR GG-1's don't really come in Pink, buy me the real train colors please.  Watching her do this in sign language was something to always remember, she is totally Deaf.
