It looks like he has it modeled on a baseplate, with a miniature yard around it, doesn't it. One can just about imagine how wonderful it would look as part of a whole layout's narrative. I hope we get to see more, eventually.

Thanks for all the great complements guys, the scope of the project is to reconstruct the entire light keepers facilities and the light house located on the Chesapeake Bay at Turkey Point near North East, MD. The folks from Maryland Park Service got the blueprints and I have volunteered to build a replica of what it looked like between 1900 and 1930. Several out building and the light house itself. Sad to day it will never see my layout. But I am having a great time building it. When completed it will be displayed in the nature center at Elk Neck State Park.

One thing I like about houses like this is that the depth looks natural.  It also reminds me of a farmhouse I lived in for a year after college.  Thanks for sharing.

Very nice modeling work.  Recently saw an episode of Outdoors Maryland featuring Elk Neck Park and really want to visit soon.

Some progress a few more of the structures completed and the landscaping has begun. Will not get to complete the diorama until we return north to the park after the spring show at York.
