Red hall has a guy in row 2 that puts 50% off everything on his tables. While the retail might be slightly high, 50% then gives you a good value. Another guy there has 30% everything on his tables and is a few rows over. Do find bargains in the white hall. Eddie is correct unless you want newer stuff, it basically takes you 15 minutes to walk through. The 1 dealer there, Nelly's Train store, is there and brings loads of stuff and his pricing is quite fair, someone you want to stop there and check out.
There are bargains to be found in the silver and red halls. You need to find them but yes, there are folks hauling the stuff for so many years, the dust would be 1 inch thick if they left it there for that long!
In addition to Nelly's, Purple also has Just Trains - they have a good selection of MTH and modern Lionel, but no postwar. And a big plus for Purple - wide aisles. Last couple times, a club had an operating layout - don't miss the prison yard in the middle.
Be sure to plan for some time in the black hall - usually a good modular layout in there.
...I just hope someone takes some (lots of) pictures...sounds like quite an event!

When you're at York take time to go down to the TCA museum at Strausburg. They have the rebuild D265 Lionel layout which was built by JimBarrette.When I was a little boy this is what I remembered so much. I love my trains because of all the memories and the friends I have today because of them. York is great. So much to see and do. That's one place i spend money and feel good about it.

Depends if you want to get first crack at the "old" stuff, or see the "new" stuff first. When I was still collecting high quality 1:43 cars, I hit the Diecast Direct guys first in the Orange Hall (near Lionel) since they had a limited number of "extras".
Over the years I learned it was best for me to park at the hall I planned to visit last (Blue/Silver), since the old legs would be tired.

I usually hit the Orange hall first - I really like the modern command stuff... then I fall back to the Lionel O prewar... still searching for a 254e fixer upper...
I usually hit the member halls first and don't even make it to the dealer halls until Friday. Of course, at the April meet I got so involved with socializing I found the National Anthem being played with myself still inside the Orange Hall lobby. Guess which hall I started with?
Gotta stay flexible!
