Hello to Everyone!
My name is Eli, & I'm from The Great State of Texas.
While I am new here, I have been into Trains for quite sometime. I have read lots of great things on here, & would like to Thank ALL of You for being so helpful to those in need... Y'all are Awesome!
I've been a lover of trains as a child, & still have my first set my grandmother purchased for me. Some years back, I felt the need to add to my (very small) collection. Slowly acquiring (mostly lionel postwar) items here & there, I've built up what I feel will make for a full- complete layout (& then some). A few weeks ago I started working on my first board. It's only an 8' x 8', but will more than suffice my current space & needs. I searched & searched for layout designs that would suit me, but decided to build it w/ what works best where. While trying to (& still trying to) incorporate all sorts of things, I've used what I have on hand. The only things I've needed to purchase as of yet were some insulating pins & elevated trestles. When I get a bit more work done on it, I'll gladly share pictures w/ you all- hoping you like what you see.
I've done a lot of studying, but I can guarantee I will have lots of ?'s for you folks... & I very much look forward to interacting w/ Everyone!
