I am a member of of the Grand Strand Model Railroad Club In Myrtle Beach, SC.  We are in need of a traveling layout to take to various train meets and social events in our community.   The " O " gauge group members feel this would be an ideal layout for us to use to engage our young visitors, ages  3 - 100+ years old.

I have been unsuccessful in trying to track down the builder of this layout that I have found on the OGR board.  We would like to ask permission to duplicate and use the layout.  We would like to start building the board as soon as possible so that we can have it completed by Presidents weekend.

We would need the track plan including all the different pieces its sizes.

If anyone can help us in getting the information we need it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanking all in advance for any and all help.

Bob C.

{Edit from original post} I realized there was an additional 10 inch section in the town side, making this an actual 4 x 8. I updated the pictures and attachment.

Hi Bob, RealTrax is very easy to duplicate. This isn't my original layout, but based on the picture I used O-31 on the inside and O-42 on the outside. If you don't have a copy of SCARM or can't read the picture of the plan, let me know and I'll publish a parts list.

I'm not sure I have the trolley line set exactly as the picture, but that is an easy one to adjust as needed.

There are many more knowledgeable people on this forum but I will take a stab at it.  Track looks to be MTH Realtrax, assuming the layout is on 4x8 sheet, the large radius would be 42” leaving 31” on the inside.  I think Realtrax set sizes are 0-31, 0-42, 0-54, 0-72, and probably 80.

Yup, MTH Real Trax it is.  And the layout/curve sizes you're suggesting would be my guess, too.

FYI, the largest Real Trax curve is O82 (not 80), but that is a moot point for this particular layout.
