Last and final layout in progress. I just had to give these buildings a home along with lots of other goodies!

Marrying 3 MFG's tracks together will be a challenge. Atlas O, 2 & 3 R, GG, and MTH Scale Trax all on a 4' x10' . I've been collecting the details and supporting items for several years now.

I must PAY the Toll first. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$, my last adventure.

Yes, have several type tracks together on my layout... but, not in such a small area!   From what is shown, looks to become a great layout.  Please keep us posted on progress, sir.

Great news! 

As much as I admire your weathering work, it is your layouts that speak to me. I studied your previous ones carefully when I was planning mine. The inspirations are not hard to spot.

Last?  Every time I vow that something is the last it always turns out to be the next to next to next to last.

I presume that you have kept your famous modules and will add them to the "4x10".

I certainly wish you luck, though you hardly need it.  Would that we all had just a little of your amzing talent.

Great looking buildings Steve.  They will support you're wonderful rolling stock and engines nicely.  Good luck squeezing it all in to a 4'x10' area.

Thanks Coach and everyone for your support and encouragement.

The standalone switching layout is portable and can roll around so I can access the shelves. The two modular sections can be stored in a walk in closet along with the table base and backdrop panels as required. Limited home space is valuable.

Don’t laugh, I’m planning it all out on the carpet.

Just an FYI, Isla from Canada has released ho and n scale building of this construction. I

e-mailed them back with a request for o scale. They stated stay tuned! 

Buildings are all built. Nothing is exact in o due to size and space. Just modeling to capture the look.  Have to build the two track bulk flour terminal in Brooklyn. Waiting on 3r Atlas 036 curve tracks from Ro. Even with everyone's silly sale prices, C Ro cant be beat.

Cant seem to find 90" of Atlas O 2r straight track anywhere. Someone sell me some.

Steve,  I was at Dixie Union Station in Mason, OH. yesterday.  Rocky had several pieces of new Atlas O 2 rail straights in a box on a shelf.  I don't know how many there were, but I'm pretty sure that there were at least 9.

I believe you are the Craftsman. I don't do anything the standard way or conventional like others. 

I just paint on the canvas and see how it turns out.

I cannot wait to see this as well.  Your building work is superb with excellent details and very inspiring.
I've given up all my layout space to the kids so I am focused on building highly detailed buildings slowly with a new layout in maybe ten years when the kids are out...
