Hello everyone!

Because I am new to this forum, I would like to introduce myself at first. My name is Lars, age 33, and i live in a small village called Lautertal in southern Germany.

After a lot of years as an HO model railroader, I started with o-scale in 2009, when I was delighted of some Atlas models at the Toy Fair in Nuremberg. At the time I am working on a small L-shaped switching layout with a size of about 12.5 x 10.5 ft by a width of 1.8 ft. The layout is portable; there are four 3.6 x 1.8 parts and two 3.3 x 1.8 parts.

Lars,

Welcome to the OGR, the best forum on the Web.

As you read more of the post and see some of the layouts I do believe you will really like participating here.  I got to tell you this right away, for mobile layout building, you really need to talk to Patrick H and Andy, along with the rest of the Pittsburgh Hi-Railers, they really know their stuff.  There are others also that due fine work, and they will help you out also.   Good luck with your engineering!
