This is an item that few if any in model railroading have ever seen on any layout. An LED illuminated burn barrel.
Back in the day and still in use in some rural areas of the U.S. folks burned their trash in converted 55 gallon steel drums. During the depression in cities they were used to warm the street people in winter and some cooked their food over them when they had food. The rail yards were full of them to warm the yard crews in winter.
Soon you will be able to set these little illuminated barrels just about any where on your layout that you can get AC power to. Just think what realism this will add to your night scenes.
