Recent video of the layout of Frank Battaglia. Trains fill the basement, great detail, trains tucked into every nook and cranny. Walls are covered. That's my idea of a train room!

Thanks for sharing. Thats a great layout
That’s a museum! I would love to know the background on the development; especially how long it took to build.
That is insane, and I love it.
Very enjoyable to watch. Would love to see it in person. Thanks for posting.
That's awesome! We were picking up speed around that first bend haha
I kind of admire how the guy has like $15 million dollars worth of trains and he kept the basement layout aesthetic.
That layout deserve bringing in some bright lights and having a slower 30 minute overview video to really take it all in.
Great layout. All highballing on there.
WOW!!!
Wondering if this is the same Mr. Battaglia who lives (or used to) in Buffalo NY that formerly had a wonderful 'attic' layout which was the subject of not one, but two articles in OGR (I think?) magazine in the 1990s. The first was BEFORE a house fire basically destroyed the original layout and the second was after the layout was rebuilt/restored and 'rose from the ashes'. ? ? ?
PS - I had the good fortune to visit the attic layout (by tagging along with a friend) once and believe me, seeing everything in person was phenomenal.
PH1975,
I believe I know who you are speaking of and I'm not sure if it's the same person but I could be wrong. I faintly remember seeing a story about this and I believe most of his structures and buildings were scratch built. I remember him saying that everything in his house was destroyed but most of his trains survived.

This IS the same Frank B. , whose original layout was destroyed in a house fire. I had the pleasure of visiting this new layout many years ago, with several train buddies from “3rd St. Depot “. The layout was not as finished as it looks in this layout, and the owner, Frank B., was a very gracious host. JohnA

HE had a layout in an attic that was destroyed by a fire. A video of the old and rebuilt one it was on the OGR video series from the last century. I guess this is the latest and greatest layout he has ince the fire!
Definitely an "O. M. G!" worthy layout.
Very beautiful. Great ride. I remember the fire articles.
Wow !!!
Thanks for sharing
That's awesome! ( Although it can't be real - there's no tools laying anywhere!!!)
Loved the ride. Awesome video
Amazing 👍
