Looking for a little guidance from the Tech experts on the Forum. I'm having trouble inserting a horizontal line ( strike-through) on a sale price or group of words in my posts. My computer operating system is Windows 10 with Word, Excel, etc. I can easily insert a strike-through Horizontal Line when I am using my Word program, but when I'm in my Forum Posting trying to use the "Horizontal Line" feature it's not working. Here is what I am doing:
After signing in, I go to my post and bring it up. I click on "Manage Topic", then I click on "Edit Topic". This brings up my post with the tool bar that contains the various icons for Bold, Italics, Emoji's, etc. and "Horizontal Line". I can now edit the post (you all know that anyway 
) Then I highlight what I want to "strike-through" with a Horizontal Line. I then click on the icon for "Horizontal Line" and what I just highlighted disappears. I then click on the icon for "Undo" and the previously highlighted price/words come back into the previous spot. I've even tried it in reverse, where I click on the "Horizontal Line" icon first then highlight the price or words, but all I get is highlighted text and no line.
I see where other members are successful in using the Horizontal Line feature, so...... for those of you who have used this feature, what am I doing wrong here? Something tells me it is simple and I'm just not tech-savvy enough to figure it out. 
Oh, BTW, I've Searched the Forum about this topic and I got no results addressing this topic.
