Interior detailing for the new Lionel N5B caboose?
Looking for photos of the interior detailing (if any) on the smoking and non smoking caboose model versions.
Are the interiors detailed like the MTH N5C or N8 caboose models? Is the brakeman figure in the cupola actually seated or just hanging in mid air like another earlier Lionel caboose model?
Example photo shows a caboose with smoke unit included. Looking to purchase this model. Can the smoke unit be easily removed on this model?
Now have this unit. The smoke unit has been removed. The truck pickups have also been removed. The interior lighting will now be powered by a 9 volt battery with a 5 volt regulator circuit. The interior lights will be remotely turned on and off and dimmed as necessary all from a wireless remote.
The following photo shows this car with the view of the side window with the interior smoke unit removed. A "scale" smoke jack will also be added.
