I want to add a custom-decorated freight car to Lionel's "Lionel Steel" train set. Does this decal exist at a vendor somewhere? Or is there way to copy it into a PC and make it?

Excellent! Thanks for sharing your LIONEL STEEL logo. I saved this image in my PC. With your permission, I'll make two DIY decals for transfer to the sides of a Lionel Transfer Caboose -- so that it could become the final freight car in a line-up that now contains:
* Lionel Steel Industrial Switcher (1)
* Lionel Steel Ore Cars (3)
* Lionel Steel Gondola with Culvert Pipes (1)
* Lionel Steel Flat Car with an Animated Welder Figure on board (1).
I doubt if Lionel LLC will ever make an appropriate caboose with "Lionel Steel" décor for this train set, so I've decided to make one based on a Lionel Transfer Caboose (actually a B&M piece; it arrived at Mottler Station via FedEx today). I intend to repaint the "cabin" on it it to match the black roof and grey sides of the "Lionel Steel" loco, then apply the "Lionel Steel" decals. Presto chango!

Sounds like a real cool set when you finish. Be sure to post photos once she’s put into service!

Thanks for sending your "AOK" to use your decal design on my "Lionel Steel" Transfer Caboose project. Next step ... a trip to the hobby shop to buy black and silver-grey paints in spray cans. I'll take a photo of the finished task and send it to you.
