IT's TEAM TRACK TUESDAY!!  Share your team track photos here!

Team tracks are a vital part of real railroad day to day operations.  Found in remote rural locations, small towns, and large cities, team tracks are sidings/ spurs that offer an on/off loading solution for many kinds of businesses and industries.  Practically every kind of freight car can be on/off loaded on team tracks, as can some passenger train head end cars, and MOW equipment.

This week on a team track located in a remote rural location on the Free State Junction Railways Mountain Division, farmers line up with their trucks as they bring their pumpkin crop to market.  After all  Halloween is coming soon!!

As soon as Joe opens the WM insulated reffer's door, the loading process will begin.  Bubba will have to stop drinking that Dr. Brown's Cream Soda ( at least that's what he says it is  , get off his keister and start loading pumpkins into the railcar.  He's got to get back to the farm and pick up another load to bring back here to the team track.

Let's see your railroad's team track photos.    Prototype railroad team track photos are welcome too!

Have a wonderfully fun and creative week!  See ya next week on the TEAM TRACK!!

There is a thread on the Scenery and structures forum about where to get grain, seed and fertilizer bags. So while I am working on some new triple T scenes, I thought I'd post some past scenes featuring bags and sacks...

Hi Mark, got one question.  Or should say my "Left-Brain" wants to know, how does that tow-motor get/drive up there??????????

Ron

Well after I started this thread on the wrong track ( forum topic ) last night it looks like TTT made it to the correct track.

Really nice material this week guys!!  Lots of inspiration!!

Coach Joe - thanks for stopping by the team track!

Fred - From apple tree to reffer ... very nice!!  Nice beef too

Jackiejr - very nice scene!  Love the freight house!  And yes sometimes the team track is found with no freight cars at all.

Lee - that is one trashy photo LOL!!  It does however give me some ideas for a future TTT scene.... thanks!

Mark - Very nice scenes!  Love the sacks!  I did see the Scenery thread and it was great!  I found some TTT stuff on the links.  Can't wait to see what you are creating for future TTT

Bob - I really like your night scene!

Brian - I love that gantry crane!  No team track should be without one ... wait a minute my team track doesn't have one ... oh yeah I'm going to York this week

Dave C. - wonderful modeling!   That loading platform is the real deal.  I really like the rough edges from years of use.

Thanks to all who stopped by the team track to take a gander!  See ya next Tuesday on the TEAM TRACK!  Have a wonderfully fun and creative week!

Hey Ron,

Anyone using the team track is responsible for providing their own fork lift. There is a ramp supplied to load and unload it as seen here...D_LI

...or if your willing to suspend disbelief, we have (unable to be photographed) some Oompa Loompas that will help out .

And failing that, in the words of Monty Python..."It's only a model!"

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
