Team Tracks are a vital part of day to day real life  railroad operations.   Lets see team track photos from your railroad!!

Team tracks are unique in that they serve for unloading/loading practically every type of freight car, MOW equipment, and even some passenger equipment such as baggage cars, combines, and RPO cars.   Team tracks are found in large cities, small towns, and in rural areas.  Team tracks serve local merchants, building contractors, fuel oil and coal distributors, farmers, etc.

Lets inspire one another with photos from our own team tracks found on our layouts!  Real life railroading team track photos are welcome too, for they help inspire modelers' imaginations!

With blue flag and derail in place, the team track is still out of service as construction continues on the overhead crane installation:

Mark - great photos!!  I love the story telling and the fact that you are doing this all in weekly episodes!!  Can't wait for next weeks episode!!

The boys are going to have to work a lot of overtime this week to finish that crane.

here is my 1633 Navy set Which I have just recently completed except set box, and 13028 and you will notice engine is just the shell as I'm in the mist of redoing the frame as it was bad, very rough. But that set is complete now except the exploding ammo dump and it's box(es)IMG_0494

I will post pics once I get the engine back together ( 2359) I wish I took a before pic but didn't think of it.

Nice stuff posted this week, folks!  A day late and a dollar short for me.  The D&H local drill out of Hudson Yard just made a "double delivery" set-out on the team track while the rest of the train holds the main.  Today's delivery includes two 40' boxcars, one containing a load of packaged flour originating off the Lehigh Valley RR near Buffalo, and the other with a load of mixed merchandise (including appliances) originating off the D&H near Albany...
