Once again IT's TEAM TRACK TUESDAY!!!  Share your team track photos here!

Team tracks are a vital part of daily railroad operations. Practically every kind of freight car, some passenger train head end cars, and MOW equipment can be on/off loaded on team tracks.    Team tracks are found in rural locations, small towns, and large cities.  Team tracks have many uses and can serve, in a way, as utility tracks, due to their flexible availability.  At times team tracks may be used by railroads to temporarily store freight cars or even locomotives,  when traffic volumes are down.

This week on the Free State Junction Railway's team track number one, located in lower Patsburg, a RF&P outside braced boxcar loaded with bails of cotton is in place.  The loaded boxcar originated deep down in Mississippi. The bails are being hauled to a nearby textile mill.  A derailment on the spur leading to the mill dictated that this car be rerouted to the team track for unloading.

Share your railroad's team track photos here.   Team track photos from all layouts are welcome no matter what stage of completion, complexity, or simplicity.  Photos from museum quality layout to simple ovals of tin plate track with an undesignated siding are most welcome.  Photos of real railroad team track operations are welcome as too!

If you miss posting on Tuesday, no worries, go ahead and post any day of the week!

Have wonderfully fun and creative week!  See ya next week on the TEAM TRACK!!IMG_4647IMG_4649IMG_4651IMG_4652IMG_4657IMG_4658IMG_4667IMG_4668IMG_4680IMG_4686
