Once again IT'S TEAM TRACK TUESDAY!!!! Share your railroad's team track photos here! Team tracks are a vital part of the day to day real railroad operations. Team tracks are found in rural areas, small towns, and large cities. Team tracks are used to unload/load all kinds of freight cars, some passenger head end equipment, and MOW equipment too. In - other - words team tracks are sidings that do not have a single designated purpose ... unlike those sidings that service a specific industry such as a fuel oil distributor, lumber yard, cement plant, etc.

Remember this thread is meant to inspire one another! Photos of finely detailed models to a simple loop of tin plate track with an undesignated siding ( and all models in between ) are most welcome!!!   From the Free State Junction Railway, this week I have a re-run ... a B&O express reffer is being loaded with fresh vegetables from farms in the Greater Patsburg Area.   Once loaded the shipment will be coupled into the head end of an east bound B&O passenger train headed for Baltimore's Camden Station.  Once at Camden Station. the car will be cut out of the train and taken to the Baltimore City Produce Terminal where it will be unloaded onto trucks and distributed to area grocery stores.  Looking forward to seeing  your team track photos!!IMG_1648IMG_1646IMG_1645IMG_1641

Great photos everyone! This week the Team Track crane is being called upon once again to unload another heavy object. This time its classic old school Allis-Chalmers (Are they still around?) condenser...

Mean while across the tracks at Hisle's, another load of coal is readied for delivery...
