Interesting Bill, I found on the Ives Society website that the vertical shingle pattern on the one piece roof was usually found with the black chimney. My photos came from the one that sold at Stout. What I made was as close to that one as I could make it. Interesting variation.

While I’m waiting on the cast chimney cap, I decided to make one out of wood. What are your thoughts on shape and color? I have seen different variations. The pictures aren’t very good, so it’s hard to tell. One even looked like it had brick lines.
