WOW, as always Jason, another totally enjoyable video, You are so doing everything right . I DO enjoy the basement updates. I bet you are on cloud 9 as they say with excitement. My bet is it will be in working order before you planned it to be. Keep up the good work and keep entertaining us. I sure wished I had talked to you longer in the partking lot of the York show when we just passed each other on your way to the Blue and Silver Hall. I will admit I was a bit starstruck to see you and when I just paointed to you and said JD STUCKS lol lol. You are a very cool guy.
Enjoying your videos as always. I am currently building one in our new house so I am watching your new layout building efforts with a lot of interest!

Thank you Joe. Some people might be bored of the basement updates but they're critical in planning for a layout. And if we cross paths again I'd be happy to chat longer. I'm just hoping we see the day that York meets resume...

So can we see some pics of your Roadrailer collection thats showing on your back left in your video.
I enjoyed this video. Helps build excitement if I were to move to a different house with an unfinished basement and starting over with a new layout. Thanks for posting!
Good luck on the new layout. I never finished my basement but just built the layout. You're taking it much further than I am. One day (not anytime in the near future) I'll tear the current layout down, finish the basement, and build a slightly larger layout. So props on doing it the right way from the beginning.

There's some footage of the ALL the roadrailers running in this video. Enjoy!
If your in the market for Lionel auto racks.......I've had better luck ( less derailments ) with the cars (1st run ) that do not have the rotating bearing caps. I tried to replace the trucks on the newer cars with some early ones, but the trucks and mounting screws are different.......the color on..those new NS auto racks bothered me so much ,I had them professionally repainted. I think your doing about everything right in the new basement, but you may regret not having a bigger basement in the future......thanks for sharing!

You can dismantle of lot of your current layout if you plan it. Then reuse most things. That’s what I’m doing now. It makes rebuilding your next layout a lot faster. Plus you keep your history.
