In doing some cleaning/organizing, I came across this prewar Marx Canadian Pacific freight train. The engine motor and 2 position e-unit work, but one of the drive wheels is no longer attached to drive axle due to hole in wheel worn. Engine to Tender is tab in slot hookup, and tender to freight cars, and freight car to freight car are the "unidirectional" couplers, or claw and post couplers. Looks in pretty good shape.

Also there are a few Marx tinplate red passenger cars with matching tender - all coupling is tab in slot, so Canadian Pacific engine could pull these cars. A bit ruff.

Last, three Marx tinplate freight cars that are junk in terms of running, but I guess could be put in some type of display, like a wreck or junk yard.

Your opinion - Jewel or Junk. Guess at a value if you have one.

Sometimes a small piece of masking tape or aluminum foil can be cut and wrapped around the axle end to make it thicker. The foil actually works pretty well.  My dad has been using this trick for years when he doesn't want to rewheel an entire motor.  Just kinda twist the wheel as you hand press it back onto the axle.  Trial and error until you get it nice and tight.
