I did enjoy watching all 3 of the presentations live. (And got to see Paul's layout! :-) Each "show" was completely different and informative in it's own way.

Hopefully someone will pick up MTH and the staff. As mentioned above we don't know any of the financials involved, though we do know the value of unused tooling, and that is steel scrap dollars. The one and done in demand Passenger trains would keep them running for a few years even just making them to order only. Ever try to locate a North Coast Ltd set?

Kudos to TrainWorld for getting it all together. Hoping all the train stores can survive this.

Thanks to Ken Jr. For a wonderful, informative show. Sad to see MTH coming to an end. I appreciated all the upcoming offerings from the other manufactures. Looks like there will be plenty of options for the coming months and years. Glad to hear Atlas has track available again.  Despite the MTH news the show was upbeat and offers exciting prospects for the hobby.

Thank you all

Tom

I want to thank them both for all their work,

and all the Team at MTH for my RRs! Parts, service, etc.

DCS software and hardware, engines in all the scales, and all the rest of the great products.

I'm not sure where I will go in the future for products with these great values? I may just run them forever.

I wish the whole team great success down the road.

Now I need about 2 dozen or so Dash 8 tires, a couple of board sets, all the military loads on flats, several 2 rail engines, 1 gauge SD70ACes, the new TIUs, etc., etc..

I need another bank loan(s) (I'm still maxed out)

or someone rich to adopt me quick? (not likely gonna happen)

or ???

First a huge thanks to Ken Jr. for orchestrating the show!!

To Rich and Andy: Thanks for all of the time and energy you spent over the years giving us such amazing products to enjoy our great hobby!! I will miss seeing you and the MTH booth at Trainfest every November and will miss all of the fantastic modern era items that have been produced which lured me back to the hobby.

Fair seas and following winds!

I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 nights.  Makes me want to go to York next year to check it out.  Seems like its a pretty great show.  Does anyone know how it compares to Trainfest in Milwaukee?

Completely different.

York is a few layouts, with mainly buying and selling of items. Lots of items.

TrainFest is more of an entertainment day out for families to see the layouts with some selling.
