what is the process to reset the train and program the same and is there codes involved.. New to the newer trains ,,, train does nothing now thanks

Well, if it does truly nothing, a reset may not be in the cards.
How about more detail, is this a conventional or TMCC command locomotive? Are you running it with a transformer or a TMCC/Legacy command system? What are the symptoms exactly? Does it light up at all? Make any noise? Are you sure you have track power?
running with transformer got track power it is a tmcc command locomotive at first it had lights and didn't move smelt something burnt found the trace on mother board bad from front roller repaired with jumper,,, had all cards off of mother board put back together and now does nothing thought since I had all the boards off the software screwed up,,, took pictures of locomotive before I started so I knew what went where
