Hi Everyone.....
Have another problem with one of my GG1s
K-Line GG1 - K2780-4912IC Side Trucks seem to have warped (see Pictures)
Anyone ever see this before? 3 of the 4 side trucks warped and broke at the screw mounts.
Anyone have replacements or know where I might get them..

saw posted on the forum...the Lionel side frames will fit with a little work..hope this helps..

I had that same engine with the same issue. I bought the truck sides from Lionel parts and with a tiny bit of filing, installed them.

This type of warping and breakage is a sure sign of zinc rot, a casting that was improperly manufactured with impurities (often too much lead) in the molten mix or poor production procedures.
Not common, but frequent enough to generate a lot of postings here and leave some people frustrated.
