K-Line MP-15 Traction Tires

Are traction tires for the K-Line MP-15 diesel switcher still available ?

The reason I ask is that there is an MP-15 on Evilbay going for $60.00 w/free shipping.  Looking at the photos and reading the description I cannot find any reason not to go for it.  It does look like a traction tire is missing.

Thanks Rob.  I just put in a low ball offer.  Let's see what happens.

I am noticing more K-Line MP-15s on Evilbay lately.  All going for very good prices, anywhere from about $40.00 to about $100.00.  The vast majority of them have the Kennecott Copper road name.  These seem to be the ones with the lowest prices.  Were these things made in abundance ?

I received the Pennsy MP-15 today.  I must say that I am pleasantly surprised with it.  It even has a horn !   Since I am giving this loco to my grandson, I wonder if it's speed can be toned down by wiring the motors in series, or some other method I am not aware of.

I haven't taken a picture yet but here's the Ebay photo.

Nice score, Dan! Yes, wiring it in series will slow it down to a more reasonable pace. I did that with mine.

Thanks Matt.  I'll tackle that job tomorrow.
