Looking for a set of K-line Pennsylvania Heavyweights [K-line K4880G (6-car) or K4880-7992 (4-car)]. These are the K-lines with interiors/people.
Desperation is setting-in.
I think I have. Need to dig into storage to confirm. Are you still looking?
Yes, I am.
Hi Jeff, I do not have. Sorry!
Thank you for checking!
Still tops on my wanted list.
Someone must have a set they are not using. I am not looking for a bargain.
Still looking..... These are the K4880 series 16" cars that run on 031.
If it helps Jeff I just saw this set posted for sale on the TrainZ website (also a forum sponsor) -
M.J. Thanks for the tip however these are the earlier issues. The primary difference is the lack of interiors. These cars have window silhouettes. Thanks again.
Would you be satisfied with the MTH RailKing cars? The original ones were a hair shorter in length, and a hair taller from the rail head than these K-Line cars, but they still look good.
RoyBoy, I really would like a set of these 4880 K-lines with interiors and people. I currently have sets of CNJ Blue Comet and Lehigh Valley John Wilkes in MTH/Railking. They are nice cars as you say. Thanks for responding to my WTB nevertheless.
FWIW, Trainz also listed the K4480C 6 car 18" cars w/ interiors.
Keystone, Thanks for the tip except I am running scale 031 and have to stick with the 60 foot cars. Seems like the PRR k4880s are in great abundance with the window silhouettes but rather scarce with interiors and people. It also seems like the PRR cars are the hardest to find with interiors and people. Other roads are around. Likewise the 18" 70 foot cars are also available in abundance. The K4880g set is the only passenger cars (currently) on my want list. A set will show-up sooner or later. Jeff

Jeff, a suggestion: Perhaps you should edit your original post to say just that and avoid replies that are not on point, so to speak.
