I thought everyone might want to keep on of our forum members in your prayers. Jim Robinson AKA BridgeBoss is going in for major spinal surgery next week. Please keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery. Take care, Al

For those of us who are Christians, we need to step up and 'do the works of Jesus' as He commanded us to do. When He sent out the 70 in pairs to pray for the sick, feed the hungry, etc, He didn't say "if you find a sick person come get me and I'll accompany you to pray for them". He said You pray for the sick, You feed the hungry, You cast out devils". He gave us that authority to use His Name to do the things He did. We just need to believe that and act on it!

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ I bless Jim with a successful surgery and that the Drs and attendants perform their jobs with expertise and that he be healed completely and make a full recovery. Amen

I want to thank all of you for your prayers get well wishes. Other than the passing of my wife a year ago this will be the most challenging event of my life. Hopfully I can return to a somewhat normal life and continue everything that I enjoy including making Model train bridges and train sheds for all of you fine people. I have a great familly, neighbors, freinds, and all of you supporting me, so thankyou very much. I will try and keep everyone up to date on my website.

thanks.

Keep up your spirits, Jim, and keep up the fight. Advances made in the science and practice of medicine in recent years are nothing short of phenominal, and I'm confident that your medical team will serve you well. Do keep us posted when you can, or ask a friend from the forum to do so.

I will also pray for BridgeBossJim....there are many more York's that he needs to attend, or at least hear us complain about...read Mr Muffins reports.....etc!

Best to you!

Sam, said so well and expresses the thoughts of us all.  Jim, Deanna and I send our prayers for a successful and speedy recovery, sir.

Take care, Jim, and God bless

Keep fighting the good fight Jim. We're all pulling for you and with you, like a double header on a steep grade.

I just wanted to give an update on Jim. I spoke to him this morning and his surgery got delayed because one of the machines needed to operated is down and waiting on a part. He is hoping he will get in soon as his spinal condition is worsening.

To: THEE Boss

Got that about The Boss?

Thanks.

Yea, I know silent works too. But I put it in print anyhow Lord, faiths there. 🙄

Thankyou everyone. The operation was postponed due to an inoperative CT scanner used during the entire procedure. So tomorrow is the day. I know this will be tough, however as they say "lets get this on " as ive got many more things in life to accomplish.

Im sure I will be out of commission for a couple weeks, but ill try and keep everyone updated.

Jim....we are all in there pitching for you my friend!!  I have a good feeling that everything will be fine and you will be up and going your usual full speed ASAP!!  The crew at OGR wishes you the best and let us know if you need anything....

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to give everyone an update on Jim's surgery. He had the procedure done on Friday and it seems all went well. 7 1/2 hours. Jim is resting up and will be going though 2 weeks of rehab once he is given OK by his doctor.  He is in a pretty complicated neck brace to keep his head from moving.  I will be talking to him after a few more days of recovery.

Please wish him well for Bryant and Theresa.  I was going to volunteer a couple of hours in his booth at York in October.  Jim has been a great resource and friend.  I'm glad things went well for him.  Fingers crossed, and still praying for a full recovery.

Your friends in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana will Place the Bridge Boss on our prayer lists for rapid healing. Keep us updated and we will continue praying for all involved, the physical therapy period that will follow is very crucial to the success of the operation. Prayers are powerful.  Great thread, thank you CSX Al.
