Exciding new details at show about Next Years 2 dayer.........???????????

Thanks all for your support, we hear ya and are working hard on it.

And remember, Rain or Snow we are a go......................................

Just got home from the show!

I was there from roughly noon until 1:30. My main objective was the O&WRHS sales table, which was plundered accordingly.

The place was packed while I was there, lots of families. Can't comments on sales, though I definitely saw people carrying purchases around.

After the show, I stopped by the Kingston Model Railroad Club, who were having an open house in conjunction with the show. What an awesome 2-rail O layout!!! It was a pleasure to walk around and talk with the guys. They have done a terrific job with it. If you ever get the chance, definitely go check it out.

A pic of my stash for the day... the three books that are stacked came from the Hudson River Maritime Mueseum right on the Rondout Creek, which I also visited during my time in Kingston.

I got there at 10:20 and there was a line stretching out the door and down the sidewalk.  Lots of people especially families.

The best: a DAD working patiently with his young son to pick out the coolest rolling stock...I couldn't wait to find out which they got. later I saw they had several pieces.

The worst: A Mom pushing a double wide stroller, empty. She had the 2 kids fanned out on either side. They were a juggernaut. BUT they were enjoying themselves.

I got a signed book from John Ham about the Hunter area of the Catskills.

I went to the Kingston NY show. I thought it was well attended. Lots of families with children. Vendors with reasonable prices made plenty of sales.

The show has a lounge area with lots of wooden trains for the younger set to use.

I enjoyed the food, and thought the concession prices were reasonable.

Looking forward to the next Kingston show.
