I was browsing Williams Boxcars in ebay and never noticed that many of them have the same car number and data as the Kris and Franks Roundhouse cars. Were the cars decorated by the same vendor?

I believe I read the Franks Roundhouse did decorate cars for Kris late in Kris' career. The boxcar molds have a common history from Kusan. It is entirely possible that when Williams obtained the molds from Kriswalus some of the detailing equipment came with them.
Franks deal with Kriswalus about using the molds to produce blanks ended sometime within a couple of years after Kriswalus passed away if I recall correctly.
