I want to add a loop of wide radius 2" gauge track, so it's time to expand the upper level on the layout. The outer loop will be 80" radius 2" gauge. Below are two loops of Standard gauge (84" and 72.") and a loop of 2" gauge. Below that two loops of 0 gauge and just off the floor two loops of No.1 gauge. That makes nine separate loops of track! That's one way to run a lot of different trains in a small city row house basement.

Thanks for the comments. PCRR/Dave: I like your cookie-cutter trestles...but I actually need the extra display space for accessories so I will probably use the full additional level and add illumination to the sub level. Bob: 2" gauge track is scarce and was only made in two diameters as far as i know: 40" and 80" ...so I don' think it would be practical, maybe impossible, to add a loop to the SGMA setup.
