I had to make a hard decision a month or so ago.  I had to scrap the sceniced part of my layout to make a much need change in my track plan.

I have included a pic of what I had to tear out, while I was tearing it out and the new scenery that I did this weekend.   The new work has got me feeling good about the layout again. Now I am moving forward.

Hey Patrick that is funny.  I am the same way, others work always inspires me to move forward.  Since I switched to the 2 rail world I really enjoy seeing what comes next from everyone.  Heck John Sethian and Christopher N&W's layouts are what made me switch over...now yours is making me think I should have gone P48 also...

Ken I can't wait to see the trestle.

I appreciate the comments you guys make between one an other as to the progress of your various projects. I stay very busy with my railroad and it's multitude of projects I'm working on. But I don't tend to post until I have what I consider something useful to offer. I get busy and don't bother to photo stuff until late in the game, thus inspite of the new forums easy picture posting I have few to share. Trust that I'm up to all the same stuff as you all are...just in my quiet mode...

Paul,

Whenever I take another long look at HO (and I have seen some of the photos you've posted of the HO empire you had built), I am always glad to see your photos (and the small track radius you have hidden at one end) as it motivates me.

I just acquired a used Fast Tracks jig, tools, and supplies and am making some code 125 turnouts. Pointless in HO when Peco offers such nice code 83 ready-made turnouts but part of the fun in 2R.

Thanks,
Bill McBride
Sounds cool...please post some photo's when you are able to of your progress.
