Dan, thanks for the photo's, looks like you're going to enjoy running trains. I would like to have that space you've got to work with. What size is your layout?

I've got a 11x15 space around the room to work with, when I reach the point of actually being able to start construction of my bench work. I need to add more electrical outlets, and redo the floor before I can get started.

Hey Rusty,   Thanks.  My layout room is 16' x 25'(on longer side of the U) and the short side of the U is 19' long.  I wanted to model a Feeder container ship in the harbor, so I added a 6' x 10' extension on the East side of my U layout.   I added interior walls to what was my 24' x 40' wood shop, complete with a plywood ceiling and insulation.   I have been working on this (my first O scale layout) since January.   I really, really do not like installing insulation in the ceiling.  LOL  Once I had a section of the ceiling done, then I built bench work under the completed  ceiling section.  It's been a journey.
