Got some scenery done this weekend. Here are a few vids.
First are couple of Western Michigan (freelance railroad of a friend's) diesels west-bound for Deming.
Second is my Texas type east-bound for Rincon.
Although this area is supposed to be between Deming, NM and Rincon, NM I am actually modeling the scenery after an area about 150 miles away on the SF transcon just west of Mountainair, NM. Alot of pictures of Texas types and Northerns have been taken hear since it was the last stand for steam on the SF. They were used as helpers out of Belen to get the trains through Abo canyon then taken off at Mountainair. I think I got the flavor anyway. I hope to model this on my next layout. Enjoy
