Snow. Har.

May explain why, year in, year out, I get so little done on the layout, et cetera. I type this sitting here
with the (home) office window open and wearing a cotton t-shirt.

It is getting brisk outside, though. Upper 30's in a few days, they say. Brrrr!

Snow. Somewhere.

(My next-door neighbors moved here from Michigan. Two months of every summer they chicken out
and go back to Michigan to visit friends. I kid them. You see, our stay-inside season is mid-July
to mid-September.)
Thanks guys, I really need the 'that a boys' right now...

I need the motivation!

Here are a few more shots of my new added farm house. both my daughters bought me this for Christmas. Again this is in the mock up phase so the details are coming later!

grass and sidewalks soon to follow!
Still looking for a garage, any one see a cool mail box?

J Daddy, That's a heck-of-a nice shot, right there. The two trains look like they mean business, and it must be very enjoyable standing there feeling their power and drama swoosh by; the retaining wall is excellent (and inspiring) in every way: tone; colors; weathering; proportions; details (I esp. like the twin drain-pipes & the effluence evidence on the land); your inset of the whole feature. Every thing looks real good.

And while I'm on the topic of what you have so expertly done, I very much like the stone pylons and their elevated girders shown in your previous photos. The colors and tones of the cut-stone and the aged appearance of the girders looks great, IMO.
Congratulations on your good eye and skills.

JDaddy, your layout for me is definitely one of my top layouts that I look forward to viewing updates on. Its looking great!

How many inches of clearance do you have under that bridge?

Its very close! less than a 1/8 of an inch to the tallest car I own. Which is a K line smoking caboose.
