LED lights during a MTH to ERR conversion

You need a 470 ohm 1/4W resistor for single LED's.  That's what I use all the time.  It's also recommended you include a series diode to protect the LED against reverse voltage.  That's especially important if you run conventional at all.

Thanks John.  So if I place a 470 Ohm resistor (on the positive side of the LED?), I could run these directly to the light hook ups on the ERR board?  Also, the CUT Geep has double bulbs for the headlight.  What resistor for a double like that?

The resistor can be any place in the string.  For the two LED's I'd use them in series and maybe consider a 330-360 ohm resistor.  While you can parallel identical LED's, running them in series accomplishes the same goal and also reduces the power dissipation in the dropping resistor.
