Hello all,
I have a TMCC Canadian Pacific diesel engine that has one LED light that is out on the front of the engine. It is a Lionel engine that is approx. 10-12 years old. Is this an easy repair or must this be sent to a service repair station? If so, any idea on what the cost would be and who would be a reliable service shop to repair if necessary. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

What LED light, one of the markers, or one of the headlights? What is the EXACT Lionel product number for the locomotive?
It is one of the marker lights and the part # is 6-28238 made by Lionel.

That number doesn't seem to equate to anything on Lionel's site.
The engine was part of a Canadian Pacific Grain Train set purchased in approx. 2006-2007. The number came from the box the engine was packaged in. Not really much I can add from here. Do repair shops fix things such as LED lights??

I'm sure it can be fixed. I suspect it's on a light board, that's about the right vintage for them to be using that technique. The trick is finding the correct LED's, I typically replace markers in pairs as I can get matching LED's that way.
