Legacy 119 And Jupiter With Bluetooth

The latest offerings have a Bluetooth On / Off switch but looking at the manual, it doesn’t appear to have Bluetooth. Can you confirm it does?  It should have the Bluetooth logo on it and the box.

I’m not seeing Bluetooth as a feature in the manual. It doesn’t even discuss the app.

The manual is pretty poor in my opinion. It says Bluetooth on the box and shows a Bluetooth symbol on the bottom on the legacy sticker on the tender.

This is the brass hybrid?  What’s the item number?

Try the opposite side from where the program run switch is on the tender. See if there is a Bluetooth on / off switch there.

Nothing else pops open.

Other than not having Bluetooth, I can’t think of anything else. I don’t have one so we’ll have to see if someone else chimes in. The manual has no reference to Bluetooth so I am suspecting it doesn’t have it.

It shows as having Bluetooth on the box.

No mention of it in the catalog description either. I’m betting it doesn’t have it but without having one that’s only a guess.

I am also trying to run conventionally and am not getting any sounds.

Alright.  I am convinced after reviewing some other sources this is Legacy, Conventional, and DCC only.  I could be wrong but cannot find anything to state otherwise except your box so we'll have to see if someone else that own one will chime in.  As far as sounds go, the manual states no Bell or Whistle in conventional so I'm not sure if that is what you are referring to.

I’m not getting any engine sounds at all. Just forward and reverse. The engine is silent.

There are no sounds in the engine.  You have to have the sound passenger car.  Might want to read through the manual.

I have this set. It does not have Bluetooth.  Also , Lionel stated that  the passenger cars would have figures . They don’t .   I also thought the crew talk should have used the sounds from the Golden Spike Promontory set they did earlier

Thanks for the info. So in order to get anything (whistle, bell, crew talk) I need the sound coach?
