Legacy 4-6-6T: Anyone have photos or video?

CarGuy : Great little engine and great looking layout!  Thoroughly enjoyed your video - particularly the scenery.

After what they did with the Vision Line Niagara paint job I like to see what I'm getting before hand.

Skip, here are some pics of the backend.

Both excellent looking models with what looks to be upgraded performance smoke units in both the main stack and whistle steam.

@jeffrey37  I see the tender's rear marker lights on your NYC, but did you turn them off while the front marker/class lights remained on?  They don't appear lighted as they were on CarGuyZM10's (Michael R) Boston & Albany.

The rear marker lights on mine do not turn on or off. The front are always on.

Skip - Interestingly neither the 2019 Volume 2 printed catalog nor the Lionel website description for this particular engine mention the 'rear' marker lights, the website catalog description for the NYC version (2031020) only refers to the "Illuminated classification lights on the front of the locomotive."

Consequently you and Keystone raise an interesting point because the rear marker lights are clearly lit up on the B&A version shown in Michael's video.

 Catalog descriptions are notorious for being inaccurate The catalog also says " 3 speaker sound system, dual speakers in the tender and one in the boiler". LOL

I would be inclined to think theres a loose connection or something in Jeffs tender. Possibly something was jarred during shipping or missed at the factory. 

There are videos of the NH version showing operating rear markers as well.

RickO - Yeah, the loose connection idea occurred to me as well.  After all, what good is a light if it never lights up? (lol)

I emailed Lionel for a RA number today to get the rear marker light fixed.  I also discovered that the ir sensors was not working.

     Many of my older Legacy steam engines produce good amounts of smoke, my B6, H10, K4 (original tender) all smoke great. My friend Kevin's UP 9001 produces great smoke whenever he runs it. You may not be putting enough smoke fluid in. Try 30-40 drops, search posts for correct amounts of fluid. Their may be a issue with your engine contact Alex M or GRJ they both can rework Lionel smoke units to high output. Good luck
