Ok crazy me I now own the Legacy Control System.Since Iam electronicaly challenged

I have some questions.

1. Iam keeping my exist TMCC system. As of now the command base is connected to one of the black terminals on my Z 4000 can Legacy be connected to same terminal?

2. Will I have to redo all of my Engine ID`s ? I have three Legacy engines and fifteen TMCC

engines.

3. I throw one switch and all of my train related power, lights etc are off.can I shut Legacy off and on like that?If so how long is wait for Legacy to power up.

4. i have a plastic thing w/each Legacy Engine,I assume that all of the Engine info is on them so I just have to plug it in once.I also have an orange, tan, blue and black thingy that came w/Legacy do I need to plug these in also at some point??

5. Can I run all of my Engines w/ the cab 1 even if Legacy is installed.

I have version 1.3 and I am getting Suicidal

1. You MUST disconnect the TMCC base from the transformer, leave that terminal unconnected on the TMCC base.  Just connect it to the Legacy base with the supplied cable.

2. You can keep the locomotive ID's, but you'll have to configure them in the Legacy.  You don't have to change the ID's.

3. The legacy base powers up in about 3-4 seconds and is ready for a connection.

4. You just use that to load the Legacy locomotive characteristics.  Truthfully, you can do it all from the remote, it's just easier to use the module.

5. You can run them all from the CAB1, obviously you will NOT have access to the unique Legacy features like the quilling whistle, etc. for the Legacy engines.

Thanks for your help

Disconnect the TMCC base from the wire, move that wire to the Legacy base. Use the large cable that came with your Legacy set to connect the TMCC base to the Legacy base NEVER allow your TMCC base to connect directly to your track again

or

After realizing you are not using your Cab-1 and TMCC base anymore (because Legacy is that cool) sell it to the DCS guys at an inflated  price and enjoy Legacy
