Big shout put to Lionel Service, my Legacy 990 unit had communication problems. They issued an RMA and I returned it, they got it on January 12 and it was returned to me today January 25 that is great service.

Similar experience here. Cab2 backlight stayed on when turned off. Lionel issued an RA and a shipping label. Took to Fed Ex 1/10. Got it back today 1/27. Speedy. Lionel paid the freight both ways. Thanks, Lionel.

I sent my extra Legacy system back to Lionel who sent me a RA. Sent it Fed Ex paid by Lionel on the 24th, they received it on the 26th. I accidentally cracked the icon screen. This remote does not talk to this base but talks to my other base and the base at my club. My other cab2 talks to both bases I have. Weird stuff with the 1 remote and base and remote are updated to latest version.
I have 2 Legacy systems, one for home layout and the other stays boxed up for shows we do.
Glad to see that Lionel turnaround time is about 2 weeks as they said to me 4-6 weeks as this is their cray time of the year.
I wish I could just purchase the displays. The weak link - easy to change,
