Norton the Iroquois cars are sweet.  I have the second one by Weaver but have never seen the first.  How about some info on that one.

Stockyard express ran a special MTH run of 36 foot reefer in this scheme 20-94558

One of my few beer-related cars:

Someone took a lot of effort to two-rail this one, notice the very neatly done milling:

Somewhere I have a matching wood-sided reefer.

Here is part of my collection of beer cars.  

Baltimore American Beer by MTH sits  at the brewery siding.  Mr. Bo, allowing another brand of Baltimore beer to be brewed at his brewery, keeps an eye on on things!

Oktober Fest by MTH on the team track as crews unload cases of brew for the annual Patsburg Oktober Fest.

My dad's favorite brew was Bud.  This is a K line car.  The Bud trucks are by Corgi.

Robin Hood Beer by MTH.  Kegs being unloaded on the team track.

My latest beer car acquisition ... National Beer by Atlas O ... purchased from Mr. Muffins as a pre order.  

More Bud being unloaded onto a Annhueser - Bush beer wagon with a Clydesdale providing the one horse power.  The beer wagon was a York find.  

Both of these Bud cars are by K line.

Two new ones added this week

Here is our latest Desert Division offering.  A-1 Beer was produced by the Arizona Brewing Company, the only locally owned company in the state.  It was sold in the '60's to a national brewery, but the neon signs with this logo, hung in bar windows and outdoor signs all around the state for two decades.

Mario, my folks retired to Athens, just across the river from Hudson.  I've logged lots of miles walking the Rip Van Winkle Bridge.

Ben, I'm not as eager as Dallas to give all my Schaefer, ice cold 7oz nips went down very easy.  Where did you get that reefer?

Hey Joe, I agree ,that is one nice boxcar.  ( just goofing around about the Schaefers.........I don't even have a problem with chocolate covered rum drops. )

It’s an atlas o plug door.  Got it from Beth at public delivery track.  Not sure if she has any more.  I saw western depot still has them

Somewhere there is a picture of me in my (much) younger days at the ‘64-‘65 World’s Fair petting a Clydesdale at the Budweiser pavilion… they are enormous!!!

Pardon the glare.  SeaWorld Orlando.  My son was just under 3 years old.  His twin sister got scared by just how big that horse was so she missed the photo op.  That horse was just standing there oblivious to everything that was going onuntil the photog sad "Smile".  All of a sudden that massive  head swung over my shoulder right on cue.

Someday… it’ll be UC for me!

Mine are mostly Milwaukee themed since I grew up in WI.  I love the new Atlas O PBR Reefer - the colors really stand out in person.  I used to have a Condo “Up North” in Michigan near Short’s.

Hull’s had a 99-cent sixpack in the late1960s; very popular among college students.  No evidence they ever had reefers, but I didn’t let that stop me!

That is an incredibly well done reefer.  This should set a high bar for railroad modelers!   Thanks for sharing, Bruce.

My favorite beer cars were the reefers from Frank's Roundhouse, Kris Model trains and Williams.

FYI, Clyde at Stockyard Express is doing another run of the Iroquois cars (20-94681, 20-94682).  Artwork is not available (yet), but I assume they are the same as the prior run.

FYI, Jeff at The Train Loft is doing another run of the Stroh's beer reefers.  Call or send him an email (jkonc52032@aol.com) and get your order in.

Here are a few Atlas-O beer reefers.

The 2 36’ Narragansett and the 36’ Springfield Breweries are special runs by B.F. Hobbies. The 40’ Narragansett is a special run by Norm’s O Scale.

I have this one of a kind U.C. Beer Tank car,  A few months ago I sent a young OGR Member name Dallas some Beer labels that I had for some years, Dallas and his wife have some adult drinks and take the labels off and then puts them on MTH tanker cars so I sent Dallas some never put on bottles labels. Went to get the mail and came across a box dropped off by the P.O. it was sent from Dallas, Had to open this box and was surprised what I pulled out a Great looking Tanker full of U.C. Beer. Back in the 90s the brewery came out with a few box cars that I had posted the brewery was suppose to make a tank car along with add on cars. They never went forward with project which was to bad. Have a family history that have retired from the brewery, after I retired I worked at the brewery for a few year so Thank You Dallas this car means a lot to me God Speed

That’s a really neat tank car!  Thanks for sharing.  Here’s one of those reefers K-Line made years ago.  I purchased this for my father at a satellite brewery shop at Christmas, 1995 or 1996.

Thanks for the kind words Mark.  Didn't know your family backround with the brewery .........made this even more special.

(judging from your good photos it looks like 4 weeks of drying time kept the paint from sticking to the Styrofoam packaging.  )
