Whether they be the original American Flyer version or the Lionel 6-49838 version.

Seeing one displayed on OGR member Bill T.'s layout https://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/...4#131926382599262544 got me to thinking that I don't see enough of them on layouts show on internet images, and not just the stock photos on the Lionel website or ones for sale.  A search here on OGR doesn't result in many threads about the 792 Terminal Shed.

I recall asking many years ago on this form about the clearance height under the crossbeams to determine whether my trains at the time could fit underneath. I had bought one around that same time and later sold it, which I've regretted ever since. 

Let's see your terminal sheds and how you've incorporated them on your layouts

It's being used just as a station, not a terminal, on my dad's layout. The elevated road to the Marx station extends via the imagination toward the foundation wall. (My dad mistakenly put a up a barrier, which you can partly see in the second photo, where we imagine the road to the station would be. It has since been removed.)

I had three sheds and the station on my previous Flyer layout.  Lionel re-did them a few years ago and I had to get three of them.  They also advertised them for O gauge by using the two pedestrian platforms to raise the whole shed for O gauge clearance, but it may not be necessary.  I got some for my O gauge buddy and he loves them along with two original Gilbert stations I restored for him before their reintroduction.  There's plenty of clearance for S, not so much with O if you don't raise the sheds with the platforms.   On my layout I didn't use the pedestrian platforms since I had three tracks under the sheds.

They're still out there, both as original Gilbert items and the Lionel releases.

Lenny, I like triple length roof cover. Looks like train station sheds of old.
