I don't know a lot about Baseball except you hit the ball with a round bat but I like your scene. It's very realistic the figures are well placed looks good mate. Roo.

Prior to me changing scales several years ago, I did a lot in HO. My new O gauge layout is still a work in process. I'm slowly working on detailing the layout and engines. The photos listed here are from my HO layout.

Thank you Roo from Down Under. It is so cool that we can connect with each other when we are on the opposite sides of our beautiful blue marble planet.

The credit for my baseball scenes primarily goes to  Kramer Products (I think they went out of business) that made the metal O Scale baseball figures, and Woodland Scenics that made the Fine Turf for the grass. I also think the billboards look good and are very realistic; there are a lot of them at the real ballparks. Arnold

Ted, you've got some interesting figures inhabiting your layout.  What mfrs do you use?

Hi  Joe, I have all the usual suspects'.   Artista, Woodland Scenics, Bachman, Model Power, Pfizer.   Most of the figures in these shots are Marklin and  Scenic Express, and Pfizer from Germany. I just ordered a bunch from 3 different companies in Great Britain .  Every figure I have is retouched with paints, markers, and I use a drafting pencil for the eyes, Extra fine tip markers for brows and lips. Most figures come with unrealistic eyes and features.  I try and make them as life like as possible.  It takes time, but it is well worth it.  As you see, the camera does not miss any details...The women take extra time due to hair and makeup.....

Seems I need to hide that seam.  That seam seems unseemly.

GandyDancer, Everything about these latest vignettes of yours is fabulous. Especially noteworthy touches I took special pleasure in are the brick skirting you added at the base of the old Lionel Coal-tipple, and your including foliage on the low retaining wall at the other coal facility, as well as your having "weeds" among the coal in the "bin" (I don't know what those features are called) under the track. I wouldn't have thought of that but learned from seeing your doing it. And the consistent tone and atmosphere of each scene, overall, are really nice artistic control. You are quite a master at this craft.

Judging from these latest scenes of yours, too, I have deduced you must have been quite a popular kid when you were a boy in your childhood neighborhood. I say that because of the playfulness present in each of the scenes you have ever shared with us. Your childhood friends must have known, when they saw you had come out to play, that they were in for a good time of it that day.

Your cheerful modeling of our world is possessed of happiness, that's for sure.
