Just sold that exact engine at Henning's last night, of course we had to "test run" it before it left. My only complaint is the anemic horn, other than that I liked it. The LC+ remote is actually pretty good for yard work, reversing direction is really simple and maneuvering in a yard works well.

I concur.
In my initial runs that was one of the first things I noticed (weak horn). Otherwise, a great runner. As usual with LC+ the speed control is fantastic and it smokes like a champ. Love those twin stacks!
I also got the B & O NW2 LC+. Very happy with it thus far. It did arrive with dry gears on the power truck, so that was the first order of business. I agree that the horn is a bit anemic. Everything works and the slow speed operation is very impressive.
Detailing is quite nice and I'm now motivated to get going on my freight yard!
Just wish for an open cab. Wonder, is there enough room for an interior, or add engineer?
