Speaking of the Coca Cola Sundblom Santa, I have 2 collages, a large puzzle and 7 old ads clipped from vintage National Geographics hanging on the walls of my living room at Christmas.  You can see a few on the right of this photo:

I also made 2 Polar Express collages for my bedroom.  One is screen shots from the movie, the other is PM 1225 in both it's regular paint and the PE version.

the thoughtfulness of your "Likes" for my sharing what we do in our home for Christmas, regarding trees and trains, is much appreciated. Thank you.

Well no trains yet, but here's the progress.

Due to my little ones, the tree needs some serious extra protection. My bigger little guy can lift up the portable baby gate and move it around, so step 1 is to start with a sheet of plywood , trimmed to 4' x 6'.  This is covered in a holiday table cloth the is held down with fabric glue and a little duct tape on the back. Then assemble the back gate and mark it out for holes.  Cut the cloth, drill the holes, and apply zip ties.

Then move to the living room and zip tie the baby gate in place. Then scavenge the spare track bin and scare up a transformer, conventional only around the tree!! Screw the track down, so it doesn't come apart, and apply power strip.  Insert tree, prepare for magic!20161211_15263520161211_15270120161211_15264620161211_15521720161211_155137

This was almost going to be the first Christmas since 1955 that there would not be a train by our Christmas tree. We couldn't let that happen. So I took out my Christmas gift from 1959, a Lionel 2528WS General Set, and set it up.

There you see the yellow set box on Christmas morning 1959.

Here are a few shots of mine. We are way behind schedule this year, as we've had issues with the transformer, lighting and worst, the locomotive for our Troop Train. We've run the same train for 15 years, but this year it shorted out, so I put the Polar Express FT in its place. Bob at Alloway Trains n' Things is hopeful he can have it running before Christmas.

So I picked up a $10.00 train at Wal Mart and then set it up at my office.  The little scene grew from there, to the point where I glued together a bunch of scrap pieces of foam and made the rock outcropping for my light house.  It's not quite done yet.  I plan to add some blue construction paper under the rock to add a water effect.  This little project has been fun.

It's funny how we start off with just a "little train" and go crazy from there

Your Disneyland display IS AMAZING!!!

Thanks!    Keeps me out(?) of trouble.    Except....when I watch Godzilla movies I do get the urge....

At first I thought your buildings were the collectible plastic toys found in Disneyland.  I had to do a little research to find out you made those out of paper!?!?!?  Being a native Southern Californian, your Disneyland display really warmed me up all sorts of fun from the inside
