Lets see your "Under the Christmas Tree" layout

Finally finished the layout under the tree. xtree santa The house is the "Christmas Story" House...one of our all time favorite Christmas movies. We visited my hometown, Cleveland, last year to show my grandson his Grandpa's childhood home, and just up the street was the Christmas Story House and Museum/Souvenir shop. They filmed the movie in that house. While there, I picked up the Christmas Story car to ad to the scene. The scene includes the "Major Award" and the kid with his tongue stuck to the flagpole. Enjoy.

This was the layout I could have only dreamed about when I was 10 years old in 1962. A combination of Lionel and MLB. The buildings are all Department56 and ornaments are Hallmark. Everything is MLB licensed. It was 58 years in the making.

My 2020 layout. I often move buildings and things around, but this year I added a skating pond and a sledding hill. I also brought back my Santa Pylon after a two year absence. Think my dog has finally settled down enough that she won’t eat him.
