Apologies to Mods as my previous post was deleted ? ( I am assuming because of photo copyright ?  Mea Culpa ... I apologise unreservedly )

If anyone has a copy of Michael D Fosters excellent "British Toy Trains " volume 4 , one hit wonders, could they please reference it for me in regard to a possible photo of a Van Riemsdijk OO clockwork Peckett locomotive for confirmation ?

I "think " I just bought one , and there is next to no web presence of these rare beasties apart from one reference photo which had a corresponding text reference alluding to this loco being in that volume ...

I just bought ...

This..... which I believe is that very locomotive ??? can someone with that book if they have it handy please let me know if I am barking up the wrong tree ?

Note to Moderators ... I apologise for previous deleted post ... the above photos are of MY locomotive and this post even tho it is in the O-scale forum and it is a OO locomotive , I am asking for a bit of latitude as the book I am asking folk to reference is most likely to be found in O gauge collectors hands ... As stated in deleted post I do own several of Michael D Fosters books, I highly recommend them , I just dont have #4 (yet!)

Just seeking hopeful confirmation of what I have here

Mystery solved after a lovely reply to an email I sent to some wonderful Dutch friends ( Fred -Sncf321e & Hans v.D.)

Despite neither having seen one myself and only "aware" somewhere in the bowels of my  mind that JvD did actually make OO locos ... it turns out my gut was 100% right and this is one of them.... Whew

Yes this is a John van Riemsdijk 00 0-6-0-controlled clockwork Peckett saddle tank locomotive  , made in the early 50's , only 500 of the flat sided Peckett tank 0-6-0's were made , and a lesser unspecified amount of these followed ... information gleaned from a letter JvD sent to Michael Foster that he included in his book ... Thanks to him ( and Fred ) I have learned more about this man than the previous years of searching every corner of the web revealed !

Thank you guys !

If anyone has anything they can add however feel free to drop a comment !

...

I have seen books in that series in the Orange hall at York, although can't say if that specific volume was among them.  There is a seller who sets up not far from the central doors to the main hallway, but I don't know who he is.  Does anyone know his name?
