I went to STONE GABLES ESTATE on Monday to see the Lincoln Funeral Train display with the Leviathan replica and the Lincoln Car. This estate is in Elizabethtown, PA (near Harrisburg).  Stonegablesestate.com/current-projects  shows under National Christmas Center, that this engine and the Lincoln car will have a home there with the Belmont Barn they are moving from Lancaster to this  Estate is completeDSC03972DSC03964DSC03966DSC03968DSC03970DSC03973.  This is a spectacular historical display area.

I was a volunteer on the Lorain & West Virginia Railway and the Leviathan visited us two years in a row. The second time was with the Funeral Car which stayed on static display while Leviathan gave rides. The first year coincided with my first trip to the April York Show. Miraculously my first ever purchase at York was none other than an MTH Premier Leviathan. When I got home I positioned it next to the real thing on the station platform.  Little Leviathan.001

Here is a video of the model running on my old layout. I acquired the Union Pacific cars at the following October show.

While at the L&WV we ran a few evening photo runs into the woods with Civil War Reenactors. One of the most unique shoots I have ever been on. https://www.trainwizardpro.com/Leviathan/
