Define 1 engine at a time.

The LC App can control many engines but not simultaneous.  You have to switch to other engines that are available but it will control more than 1.

Thats why i use the universal controller most of the time then i can run three

@MartyE. Thank you for the confirmation,  do you (or anyone) know what the limitation is? ie The App?  The Loco Hardware etc as to why we can't control two or more simultaneously? 

The APP is limited. It's meant to be simple. That doesn't mean we don't have something else in development.

The LC App will not control more than one engine. When you start a second engine with the App, the first engine will stop on the tracks and start beeping. The run is over. You have to use the Universal Control to control 3 engines at one time. To control 4 engines just at an engine with the App.

Casey you may know this but the universal remote will do three at one and the discount dealers sell them for about 40 dollars street price

Thanks.  I was unaware of this limitation.  I just assumed it would control more than 1 like the UR but I guess it makes sense based on BT technology now that I think of it.  Seems like  it's time to get this updated.

My apologies to Casey for misleading him.

At least for the currently existing LC locos it will take something like my LC Gateway just due to the nature of the Bluetooth connection with most phones. I am sure you have seen this video  @Casey_Jones by just wanted to put it back out there that it has been done at least once before. Just not without a very small piece of extra hardware.  Pretty neat @Dave Olson right?
