Dan, The L or low is the default for momentum control...if you want a slower start or response, then the M is for medium control and the H or high gives the more prototypical response action for starting and stopping. It does work on my app and iPhone, so pretty sure it will on yours too.

I'm curious what you find here.  I don't have any of the bluetooth engines, so no clue.  I'm wondering if perhaps not all of the engines have this function available?  What engine is it here?

You should notice some difference between the L and H settings but it is not nearly as pronounced as the difference between L and H when running Legacy. 

I did the deed last night and an toggled between the different momentum settings.  I did notice a difference between the low and high settings that I hadn't been able to see before.  If you reduce speed quickly, the locomotive will come to a stop more slowly when the momentum is set on high.  I tried this with the A5.  Next I will experiment with the GP-7.

Dan, I also think that the changes from L, M and H need to be done when the LC + locomotive is in the stopped position for those changes to be made? You might give that a try too...

Changes in the momentum setting (or any other settings) can be made while the engine is running.
