LionChief Plus GP20, U36B, and RS3

In the catalog they look like the low end locos with the motor mounted in the plastic truck. However, are they really on the standard GP frame with diecast trucks, fuel tank, vertical CAN motors? I would assume so since the bodies all fit on that chassis. The U36B I am referring to would be those used in the cool dealer sets.

The only pictures of the U36 engines looks lower detail than the originals made in the 70's, which I find rather odd. i think the break wheels, strange hand rail colors, may be why to my eyes they look off.

As for what is under the hood they sound great.
