I had the time to move the bracket on the front tender truck to the forward hole just like I did on my pacific. I noticed that the rear wheelset of the front tender truck was "riding" the top of the outside rail when it went through the O31 curve. My pacific does not do this and then I realized that it has 4 wheel tender trucks and not 6 wheel.

For those of you who didn't know about this.( thanks "Ken O scale") If you remove the tender shell, remove the screw holding the front truck on and you will see that the bracket for the plug from the engine has two holes. They are shipped with the bracket in the second hole on the hudson and pacific, I don't have the mikado yet and my camelback just has one hole on the bracket. This is to close the gap between the tender and engine, make's them look better too.

Just a FYI.....

Loving every minute of these lionchief plus steam engines...
